Watch puppet Phil Anselmo rob a 7-11 with a t-shirt cannon, get killed by space monsters, in amazing new video

Posted by: brad – May 05, 2017

Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo has teamed up with actor/horror icon Bill Moseley on a new record and while the tunes undoubtedly will rock, a new video promises to also after a weird, terrifying twist to the release.

“This video is and down’n’dirty and comes with no strings attached,” said Moseley, an actor who has famously slaughtered people on the big screen in films like The Devils Rejects and vocal tracks with his avant-garde metal band Cornbugs. “Well, except for the puppets. I can’t speak for Phil, but frankly I’ve never looked better!”

Yes, the new audio collab, called Bill and Phil, has a brutal new video featuring the two leading men reimagined as puppets; they fuck up a monster Christmas tree, rob a convenience store with a t-shirt cannon, and eventually face the after life after being swallowed by a terrifying eye-monster from space.

Check out the video below:

“Bill brought the lyrics and Stephen [Berrigan] and I just improvised directly on the spot, and squeezed out six tunes in three days,” said Anselmo about the short-notice EP, called Songs Of Darkness And Despair, which is available now via Housecore’s Bandcamp page. “All the songs have a different vibe because I wanted the music to represent Bill’s lyrical vision(s), and we needed to, because Bill does indeed have a unique, visual element within his choice of words and phrasing. I love Bill Moseley, and can’t wait to work on the next one!”
